Race day brought a rare heat wave to the area with temps soaring into the low 90’s—conditions that proved difficult for many local riders but gave Rob, a Florida native, a competitive edge. 🌴🚴🏻🌴 His heat tolerance paid off, securing him a strong 5th place finish in the 60+ age group! 👏
Rob was 1 of 8 riders from West Palm Beach who made the trip to compete, which has become a summer tradition for the South Florida mountain biking community. The annual trek is supported and organized by Matt and Julie Goforth of OYM Bike Shop in Lake Park, FL, bringing together riders from across the country for a memorable summer event. ☀️
